Ground Up Recruitment brings together Andrew’s experience in construction projects, building industry business development, landscaping, nursery production and business ownership.
His background includes project management at Albert Smith Signs, project administration and document control with Arup, and building services project administration with Meinhardt. He has also built and operated Narangba Nursery and managed landscaping teams.
Andrew currently works as a Kit Home Business Development Manager, adding current experience in customer enquiries, proposals, preliminary site research, sales processes and builder partnership development.

First permanent placement
12%
of annual base salary
An introductory offer to get started.
For a new client’s first permanent placement with a 30-day exclusive search. Base salary excludes super. No placement fee unless your candidate starts.
Standard subsequent permanent placement fee: 15%. Conditional 12-week replacement cover, with full conditions agreed in writing before the assignment. Fees are plus GST. Casual, fixed-term and contractor fees are quoted separately.For candidates

What areas do you cover?
Our initial focus is South East Queensland, particularly the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Brisbane North. Tell us the role location so we can discuss whether we can help.
Can you help with casual or contract roles?
Yes. We support direct hiring for casual, fixed-term and seasonal roles, as well as genuine independent contractor introductions. The client employs or engages and pays the person directly. Fees are agreed for each assignment.
Do you offer labour hire?
Our service is direct recruitment. Successful candidates are employed or engaged and paid by the client. We do not run an on-hire payroll.
What does the replacement cover mean?
Permanent placements have conditional 12-week replacement cover. Eligibility, exclusions and the replacement process are set out in the written client agreement before the assignment. It is not an unconditional cash-back promise.
How do enquiries work?
Employers can use the vacancy enquiry form. Candidates can register their details and upload a résumé. Andrew reviews submissions and follows up where appropriate. Registration does not guarantee a job or an immediate response.
