Industry experience behind the conversation
Andrew founded and grew a nursery business and has worked across nursery customer service, dispatch and production. That experience supports a grounded discussion about plant handling, workflow, team fit and the difference between production and customer-facing roles.
How direct recruitment works
You employ or engage and pay the successful person directly. We discuss the vacancy, agree written terms, source and review candidates, and coordinate suitable introductions. Ground Up Recruitment does not provide an on-hire payroll.
Assignments can cover full-time or part-time permanent employment, casual, fixed-term and seasonal roles, and genuine independent contractor introductions. Requirements and suitability are discussed for each assignment.
Clear fees before recruitment starts
Our introductory permanent placement fee is 12% of annual base salary plus GST for a new client’s first permanent placement, with a 30-day exclusive assignment. Subsequent permanent placements are 15% plus GST. A placement fee becomes payable when the candidate starts. Conditional 12-week replacement cover is subject to written terms. Fees for other engagement types are agreed separately.
